GRAFFITI WALL BOOKÂ
The graffiti book was the inspiration that I had discovered while walking around Kingston. Many murals and art pieces are legally done on private property, showcasing various artistic talents and interest in spray painting. The city of Kingston acknowledged these artists and put up a wall where they could create their art without destroying property with full creativity and city approval. Many artists leave their signatures behind on these pieces, and others need to be covered by other pieces; their work is to be supported and admired.
That is why I created a book showcasing a few works I had viewed and found interesting. The imagery I took was meant to captivate the style, feel, emotion, and love behind the theme. Some elegant, while some broken, it offers great variety. The typography style and typeface of Acier Bat originated from the firm and sharp typeface that covers the page while using a sans-serif typeface for easy readability. The paint splatter was also implemented further to enhance the book's topic and personality and is reflected using the primary colors of the specific art piece.
